The A-series three-phase induction electric motors have been designed on the basis of recommendations of IEC and standards of CMEA.
The basic construction design is IM1001. The shaft heights are 355 mm, 400 mm, 450 mm. The degree of protection is IP23.
The rated power is from 200 kW to 1000 kW at rotational frequency of 1500 rpm. The rated voltage is 6000V. Insulation heat resistance is of class "F". Heat utilization is of "B" class.
The coupling is elastic.
The stator winding is two-layer coil winding; the conductor is copper of rectangular section. Squirrel-cage rotor is of cast (A355) and welded (A400 and A450) aluminum. The body is a welded steel structure. Bearing shields are gray iron. Bearings: roller bearing - at the working end of the shaft; a ball bearing - at the opposite side to the working end of the shaft. Ventilation is two-way radial.
The insulation is achieved with high-quality micaceous materials with thermosetting binders.
Operating voltage is 6000V, frequency - 50Hz, protection-degree IP23, heat resistance is of F(B) class, the construction design - IM1001.
